Overhyped

Wiz Khalifa is the future of hip hop with his unquie style, and melo sounds. Eventhrough he's the new face of hip hop but most people look at him as an underground artist. For the past year he has featured on alot of the well known rappers songs, and took blog by the strom as well as having the most played videos on youtube. He's mostly slept on wiht the radio station and in

the in dusrty, but i have a feeling that in 2011 the whole world will know Pittsburgh on Wiz Khalifa.

"Uhuh u know wat it is everything i do.. i do it big unhuh scream that nothing when i pull off the lot stuntin rippin my town when u see me u know wat it is Black and Yellow Black and Yellow "

My overhyped artist is Nicki Minaj. Eventhrough she has set a trend and changed the face of hip hop for the female, but I feel soon that will faid out and Nicki will be no more. The world love her style but i dont think she can rap and eventually the people will see that she cant as well. See hip hop is about real rap, songs that mean something and her songs dont have that in them. So in the future I think Nicki Minaj wont be around.... sorry to her fans
MY 2nd Overhyped

Soulja Boy is very overhyped but is is very well know n hip hop. Everybody knows he wont be around, because I feel he still have that crank that soulja boy sound (remember that). Im surpise he made it this far, now I give it to him he's a very smart person when it come down to pushin his music, but he's not at all lyrically rounded. So as well as Nicki Minaj He wont be around in the future..... I think..lol.

"Get out the way pretty boy coming through me n my crew we swagging in the room girls on me heavy cuz i look so sexy yellow diamond short man my chest just flexin im lookin for a yellow bone long hair satr thick in the hip come get in my car u party with a star we take off n go to mars pretty boy take in 5,4,3,2,1 Pretty Boy Swag"

Michael Jackson - Black Or White

2Pac - Dear Mama

Favorite Lyric Post ( Tupac ; Dear Mama )

When I was young me and my mama had beef
Seventeen years old kicked out on the streets
Though back at the time, I never thought I'd see her face
Ain't a woman alive that could take my mama's place
Suspended from school; and scared to go home, I was a fool
with the big boys, breakin all the rules
I shed tears with my baby sister
Over the years we was poorer than the other little kids
And even though we had different daddy's, the same drama
When things went wrong we'd blame mama
I reminice on the stress I caused, it was hell
Huggin on my mama from a jail cell
And who'd think in elementary?
Heeey! I see the penitentiary, one day
And runnin from the police, that's right
Mama catch me, put a whoopin to my backside
And even as a crack fiend, mama
You always was a black queen, mama
I finally understand
for a woman it ain't easy tryin to raise a man
You always was committed
A poor single mother on welfare, tell me how ya did it
There's no way I can pay you back
But the plan is to show you that I understand
You are appreciated

-- Tupac's message through this song was to let his fans know his struggles, and to let his mother know that he loved her no matter what. This song goes to show that even though he was living the "good life" he had came a long way to get there. This song will forever be one of the best songs in history simply because Tupac is one of the greatest.

Jay-Z - Can I Live (Album- Reasonable Doubt)

While I'm watchin every nigga watchin me closely
my shit is butter for the bread they wanna toast me
I keep my head, both of them where they supposed to be
Hoes'll get you sidetracked then clap from closed feet
I don't sleep, I'm tired, I feel wired like codeine, these days
a brother gotta admire me from four fiends away
My pain wish it was quick to see, from sellin 'caine
til brains was fried to a fricassee, can't lie
At the time it never bothered me, at the bar
gettin’ my thug on properly, my squad and me
lack of respect for authority, laughin’ hard
Happy to be escapin’ poverty, however brief
I know this game got valleys and peaks, expectation
for dips, for precipitation we stack chips, hardly
The youth I used to be, soon to see a mill'in
No more, Big Willie my game has grown prefer you call me William
Illin for revenues, Rayful Edmonds like
channel 7 news, round seven Jews, hand gettin the mic
Forgettin’ all I ever knew, convenient amnesia
I suggest you call my lawyer, I know the procedure
Lock my body can't trap my mind, easily
explain why we adapt to crime
I'd rather die enormous than live dormant that's how we on it
Live at the main event, I bet a trip to Maui on it
Presidential suites my resedential for the weekend
Confidentially speakin in codes since I sense you peekin
The NSX rental, don't be fooled my game is mental
We both out of town dog, what you tryin to get into?
Viva, Las Vegas, see ya, later at the crap tables
meet me by the one that starts a G up
This way no fraud Willie's present gam-b-ling they re-up
And we can have a pleasant time, sippin margaritas
Ge-ge-geyeahhh, can I live?
Can I live?

My mind is infested, with sick thoughts that circle
like a Lexus, if driven wrong it's sure to hurt you
Dual level like duplexes, in unity, my crew and me
commit atrocities like we got immunity
You guessed it, manifested in tangible goods
Platinum Rolexed it, we don't lease
we buy the whole car, as you should
My confederation, dead a nation, EXPLODE
on detonation, overload the mind of a said patient
When it boils to steam, it comes to it
we all fiends gotta do it, even righteous minds go through this
True this, the streets school us to spend our money foolish
Bond with jewelers and, watch for intruders
I stepped it up another level, meditated like a Buddhist
Recruited lieutenants with ludicrous, dreams of
gettin’ cream let's do this, it gets te-di-ous
So I keep one eye open like, C-B-S, ya see me
stressed right? Can I live?

Over hyped and slept on

Over hyped rappers

1. Wocka Flocka Flame

Wocka Flocka to me is a very overhyped rapper. his first hit, "O lets do it" ,is just another "chant" club song with a catchy chantable chorus which is smply the title of the song repeated about seven or eight times. Most of Woca Flocka's songs are similari n nature and have really no substance difference and speaks about him accuireing money, how great he thinks he is what type of cars he has ect.Wocka Flocka has the type of rapping style that makes non hiphop listeners really think hiphop is ninsese and " just ignorance"outside of his isngs woca floca has no "proffesional persona" like T.I. or lil wayne it seems liek hes Woca flocka all the time not Juaquin Malphurs.

I fucked my money up, damn
Now I can't re-up
Ran off in his spot just to get stacks up
Now I'm back on deck,
So shawty what the fuck you want
Heard he talkin shit but this aint what the fuck he want
Locked my CEO up
Now it's back to coka

2. Cali Swag District

this group is far from original. This four boy crew can be easily mistaken for other four-boy-groups such as the "new boys" ,"Cash Camp" or solja boys SOD Money Gang { Group of four boy rappers including solja boy } and have a similar rapping style and music. thier single " teach me how to dougie" was preceeded by Rapper Lil Wil's song "my dougie" both dsongs featuring a dance move called the "dougie".like lil Wil this song brings cali swag district much fame but i doubt they will be able to compete long term in the hip hop industry

Put your arms out front, lean side to side
They gona be on you when they see you hit dat dougie right?
Aint nobody fuckin wit my bro from morningside
He go by bubba and he hit dat dance wit thunder
I aint from dallas but I d-town boogie
I show my moves off and everybody tryna do me
I leave da function and all da ladies tryna screw me
You just do you and ima do me(all day)

artists who will be even biggeri n the future

1. Nicki Minaj
Although nicki Minaj us deemed simply a copycat of lil kim i feel shestill had some originality to herto her style of rapping as well has her personal image.Every song she does is highly anticipared ande even though you may not be able to follow what she is saying in majority of her raps most of her fans dont seem to mind. i respect nicki and i am always pleased to see whatever new fangled hair and outfit she has in her videos.even the rumor that some of her body parts are fake [her breasts her butt, her calves ect] that seems to not deter away fans it seems to make her more entitled to call her self a barbie doll. considering the controvery of barbies measerurements are impossible to achieve. a actual human being couldnt fuction because of severe back and health peoblems.the idea of being a "barbie" say emperial perfection and power .

i couldnt really find a song that i felt had extremely awesome lyrics but her section on the somg "Monster" with Kanye west was interesting. i couldnt pick just eight bars i liked the whole verse so i picked two eight bar segments.

Pull up in the monster
automobile gangster
with a bad b-tch that came from Sri Lanka
yeah I'm in that Tonka, colour of Willy Wonka
you could be the King but watch the Queen conquer
ok first things first I'll eat your brains
then I'mma start rocking gold teeth and fangs
cause that's what a muthaf-cking monster do
hairdresser from Milan, thats the monster do
monster Giuseppe heel that's the monster shoe

forget barbie f-ck nicki she's fake
she's on a diet but my pockets eating cheese cake
and I'll say bride of Chucky is Child's play
just killed another career it's a mild day
besides 'Ye they can't stand besides me
I think me, you and Am [Amber Rose] should menage friday
pink wig thick ass give em whip lash
I think big get cash make em blink fast

2. kanye west

though Kanye had a drawback with the tailor swift incident it seems like hes come back with a vengence with hit singles "Monster", Power" and "Runaway"all released this year. i found it different for him to take the song "runaway" and turn it into somethign of a short movie. When he perfomed "power on SNL {saturday night live} he used about three dozen ballerinaswho did very difficult interperative dance moves a new spin on half naked video girls gyrating provcatively with next to no clothes on.when kanye came out he was dubbed nothing more than a "sampler" and was said to be un original as far as his choice of beats which at that time were mostly sampled older songs.i wouldnt be surprosed to see kanye still around and become a timeless rap fugure like jay z.
one of my favorite songs from Kanye was touch the sky these are the bars i chose that i thought were most powerful.

Dog, I was having nervous breakdowns,
Like "Damn, these niggas that much better than me?"
Baby, I'm going on an airplane,
And I don't know if I'll be back again.
Sure enough, I sent the plane tickets,
But when she came to kick it, things became different.
Any girl I cheated on, sheets I skeeted on.
I couldn't keep it home, I thought I needed a Nia Long.
I'm trying to write my wrongs,
But it's funny these same wrongs helped me write this song.

my favorie song

my favorite song is "life goes on" by tupac. it was on his double cd album all eyes on me. i love Pac music. he wrote this song for people like me. i really felt this song. i have lost alot of friends and family to death or jail. i really love the second verse, he spoke from the heart on this one. i love the part when he say "eyes blurry saying goodbye at the cemetary". i think he used blurry because he know we are so used to loosing a love one that our eyes dont cry any more. they only get blurry. R.I.P. to all we lost and keep your head up for all who are behind bars. no video for this song but here is the post.
