Jay Z Song Cry

By: Erica Asphy

Performing artistArtist Jay-ZSong: Song CryAlbum :Blueprint AlbumSource: http://www.sing365.com/

Theover all message to this song is to never take a person or relationship for granted! Best Lines...Good Dude I know you love me like cook food Even though a nigga got move like a crook move .We was together havin 4 Seasons brunch Woodgrain, four and change, Armor ALL'D DOWN

They say you can't turn a bad girl good But once a good girl's goin bad, she's gone foreverPretend to be heroic, that's just one to grow with But deep in down a nigga so sickI know the way a nigga livin was whack But you don't get a niggaback like that!Jay Z know his girl loves him but he got to move around he had good memories.

He had a good girl but when he cheated she turned on him.Jay-Z pretends like he dont care or is hurt but really he is so sick that his girl found someone else. Jay-Z know what he was doing ws wrong but he feels his lady shouldnt got him back like that!

She lefted him.Chorus : I can't see'em comin down my eyes So I gotta make the song cryParaphrased : Jay-Z can't see himself crying so instead he wrote a song with expression andlyrics of him crying because of his pride!

This song is important to me because a lot of men do fall in love and women, but they tend to get side track by another person and ruin their relationship by cheating, sometimes people take their partners for granted and when a person is fed up they move on.

This song will teach some men to appreciate what they have until its gone. You never know what you got until its gone!

This song should go down in Hip Hop History because this song is reality to every society and every generation can relate to his song. People can learn how to cherish their relationships and not take them for granted because in the end you will be sorry! Making the song cry like Jay -ZLyrics:

Kanye West-Through The Wire

Yo G they can't stop me from rapping can they?
Can they, huh?

[Chorus:]
Through the fire, to the limit, to the wall
For a chance to be with you, I'd gladly risk it all
Through the fire, through whatever come what may
For a chance at loving you, I'd take it all away
Right down through the wire, even through the fire

I spit it through the wire man
To much stuff on my heart right now man
I'll gladly risk it all right now
It's a life or death situation man
Y'all don't really understand how I feel right now man
It's your boy Kanye to the....
Chi-Town what's going on man

[Verse 1:]
I drink a boost for breakfast, and ensure for dizzert
Somebody ordered pancakes I just sip the sizzurp
That right there could drive a sane man bizzerk
Not to worry y'll Mr. H 2 the Izzo's back to wizzerk
How do you console my mom or give her light support
When you telling her your sons' on life support
And just imagine how my girl feel
On the plane scared as hell that her guy look like Emitt Till
She was with me before the deal she been trying to be mine
She a delta so she been throwing them Dynasty signs
No use me tryin' to be lyin'
I been trying to signed
Trying to be a millionaire
How I use two lifelines
In the same hospital where Biggie Smalls died
The doctor said I had blood clots
But I ain't Jamaican man
Story on MTV and I ain't trying to make the band
I swear this right here is history in the making man

[Chorus]

I really apologize how I sound right now man
If it's unclear at all, man
They got my mouth wired shut for like I don't know the doctor said for like six weeks
You know we had reconstru....
I had reconstructive surgery on my jaw
Looked in the mirror half my jaw was in the back of my mouth man
I couldn't believe it
But im still here for yall right now yo
This is what I gotta say yo
Yeah, turn me up yeah

[Verse 2:]
What if somebody from the Chi was ill got a deal on the hottest rap label around
But he wasn't talking bout coke and birds it was more like spoken word
Except he really putting it down
And he explained the story about how blacks came from glory
And what we need to do in the game
Good dude, Bad night, Right place, Wrong time
In the blink of an eye his whole life changed
If you could feel how my face felt you would know how Mase felt
Thank God I ain't to cool for the safe belt
I swear to God drive two on the sue
I got lawyer for the case to keep whats in my safe; safe
My dawgs couldn't tell if I
I look Tom Cruise on Vanilla Sky, it was televised
All they heard was that I was in an accident like GEICO
They thought I was burnt up like Pepsi did Michael
I must gotta angel
Cause look how death missed his ass
Unbreakable, would you thought they called me Mr. Glass
Look back on my life like the ghost of Christmas past
Toys R Us where I used to spend that Christmas cash
And I still wont grow up, I'm a grown ass kid
Swear I should be locked up for stupid shit that I did
But I'm a champion, so I turned tragedy to triumph
Make music that's fire, spit my soul through the wire

[Chorus]

Know what im saying
When the doctor told me I had a um.. I was goin to have a plate on my chin
I said dawg don't you realize I'll never make it on the plane now
Its bad enough I got all this jewelry on
Can't be serious man

[Chorus repeats till fade]

Worst Enemy

Song Title: Worst Enemy
Artist: Gucci Mane
Album: The State Vs. Radric Davis
Lyrics Provided by azlyrics.com with some corrections by me

Overall Message: The overall message of the song is Gucci Mane addressing his "beef" with rappers such as Young Jeezy and T.I. He also addresses his inner demons and admits to the fact that he has made many mistakes in his rap career but is trying to correct them.

Favorite Lines/paraphrase:
"you can help someone and love someone but still they turn and burn you
so i warn you in advance watch out cuz so called friends will con you
think MJG said it best when will I ever know who my friends
through thick and thin cuz so called friends will turn to foes."

Besides the chorus these are my favorite lines. These lines basically explain how friends, they people you let get the closest to you, can hurt you, trick you, and become an enemy. Gucci is trying to let everyone listening know what he has been through with his "friends turned foes" so that others won't have to go through it.

Chorus/paraphrase:

I'm my best friend
and I'm my worst enemy
and no one else can hurt me unless I let them
is you feelin me
and misery loves company and I had my share of misery
no mystery my infamy got me in hip hop history
First Tupac died then Biggie died
and that greatly impacted me
then history repeated itself through me and I make history
so I don't turn around no more
I look at whats in front of me
I'm focused on the future cuz yesterday is history

The Chorus parallels/reflects the overall message of the song in a short version. The first four lines mean that every individual is their own best friend (because you're always going to have yourself to count on and no one knows you better) but at the same time we are all our worst enemy (because we make decisions that sometimes harm our life and we also decide who an what we allow into our lives to hurt us). In the next two lines he states a famous quote "misery loves company" meaning people who feel their own lives are miserable try to make others feel the same way. He says he has had his share of misery meaning he has been affected by these types of people many times before. He says his infamy got him into hip hop history because of the numerous court dates, charges, and prison sentences he has served (i.e murder charges, drug charges, and parole violations). The next three lines after that are pretty simple. In the last three lines Gucci Mane is saying he doesn't focus on the past anymore he just works towards his future because the past can't be undone,i.e his mistakes.

Importance:
I feel that this song is important because it contains many moral philosophic ideals and theories on life and friendship. The chorus gives strength to the messages given in the song. This song also contains meaning, lyrics, and a unique beat which to me are the three points that each hip hop song needs to even be considered as Hip Hop history worthy, but just two of the three will make a song good. Each verse of the song contains a different ideal along with experiences the rapper has encountered.

In the first verse the rapper begins with a quote meaning that people shouldn't be stubborn because it can come back and hurt you. He also displays his usual "tuff guy" persona by basically addressing his "beef" with anyone by saying he will meet them anywhere when he has time. Yet on the other hand it he is trying to get to the root of the problem which many people these days fail to do and if it was done it could save many lives. He also puts the ideal out there that sometimes people should swallow their pride, let the past be the past, and not hold grudges against one another. These words contain key messages that if the whole world grasped, would make the world a much safer and less violent place.

In the second verse Gucci admits to his mistakes and lets everyone no that he is not perfect nor is anyone else, which represents his first step towards self improvement whether it be psychological, moral, or religious. He also states that words have power. He addresses how his words have had a negative effect on people and owns up to that fact. He also makes a moral stand about men hurting women, he feels that they don't deserve it. The whole song talks about friends being enemies but in this verse he speaks on how one of his own foes gave him advice an encouraged him. Gucci also admits that he, Jeezy, and T.I like every other rapper in the world are poets and are role models to millions which any people and rappers alike often forget.

The third and final verse brings the song together around the main focus which is that the people closest to you can hurt you the most. I feel that many people can relate to thsi song an especially this verse because almost everyone has been hurt or crossed by a friend or someone close to them. This first is important because of the warning it holds to those that haven't went through an experience like what Gucci is mentioning.

I think this song isn't telling people to not trust people as much as it is letting people know not everyone can be trusted as well as his morals on respecting women, ideals on settling discrepancies, and philosophies toward self improvement and modesty. It is because of this songs morals, ideals, philosophies, lyrics, and beat that i feel it deserves a spot in hip hop history.

[Chorus]
I'm my best friend
and I'm my worst enemy
and no one else can hurt me unless I let them
is you feelin me
and misery loves company and I had my share of misery
no mystery my infamy got me in hip hop history
First Tupac died then Biggie died
and that greatly impacted me
then history repeated itself through me and I make history
so I don't turn around no more
I look at whats in front of me
I'm focused on the future cuz yesterday is history

[Verse 1]
A hard head makes a soft ass
guess yo mom didn't teach ya that
pick a spot to beef with me and that spot I will meet ya at
but let me check my schedule
I'm free Tuesday 3 weeks from now
you bring your crew I bring my crew
just pick a time and side of town
zone 6 is my stomping ground
but I guess you know that by now
but everywhere you go you hear me
that's why your upset right now
bought a Phantom and a Lamb
but I'm in my vette right now
I raped the game without a rubber
bank account are pregnant now
the day they tried to murder me a day I cant forget about
and I don't wish no death on homie
just want him to hear me out
think about the past and all the many things we talked about
think about all the people influenced by what comes out our mouth

[Chorus]

[Verse 2]
I am not the perfect person
they don't spit the perfect verses
I wouldn't hurt a girl on purpose cuz I feel they don't deserve it
I admit my words can hurt
I dissed tiny she didn't deserve it
our song got her didn't interpret it right and I'm sorry for it
T.I. many times encouraged
told me face the game with courage
Clay gave me some great advice and still today I thankful for it
Me Jeezy and T.I. share one thing in common all are poets
role model to young people though at times man we still ignore it
and yall don't owe respect to me and I don't like apologies
just diss me till you satisfied
i swear it doesn't bother me
sticks and stones will break my bones and bullets
wont reflect off me but words and insults only show the World how yall respecting me

[Chorus]

[Verse 3]
All my homies ain't my homies
half my friends no longer want me
im still hungry as I was when I did my first live performance
things I got I know they want it
things I done they haven't done it
though they say that they my friends
I know that these niggas opponent
we can joke and laugh and party
but I know their smiles are phoney
but I still pray that the Lord give em all the things they wanted
all the money in the World cant get the joy I'm felling homie
like the third day with a woman like you and not for your money
you can help someone and love someone but still they turn and burn you
so i warn you in advance watch out cuz so called friends will con you
think MJG said it best when will I ever know who my friends
through thick and thin cuz so called friends will turn to foes.

[Chorus]

The video isnt all that good but i feel this is one of his best songs considering the lyrical meanings.
This is for everyone who thinks Gucci has no lyrics.

If I told you go to Hell, would you tell I cursed ya?

I reimbursed ya with the truth so you know my fate

And pray I die, I'm that nigga that they love to hate

I wanna make you use yo mind, God has sent a sign

And when you listen to these rhymes, nigga take your time

Again I ask, Heaven was hell and vica versa

Would you start doin' evil in order to nurture--the spirit man?

Do you understand that there's a war?

It's ragin' on and the devil got some ammo too

Don't get me wrong, but I put my trust off in the Lord

It's too corrupt, know that God gon' help me blow 'em up

I give a fuck, Heaven was hell and vica versa, I have no fear

I done witnessed too much Hell right here, lend me your ear

Recall the beer we had to po'

For all our niggaz hit the Devil with the .44

Payback nigga

My liquor keep my from tryin' to enter, battle alone

And to deal with all this wickedness, I smoke a zone

Know I'm grown, but I'm still a baby

It's vica versa so I guess I'll beg Satan to save me

God I'm confused, the fuse of all these motherfuckers, makin' me sick

{*Virgin Mary never fucked nobody, but she suck dick*}

With a clique of nasty concubines, and vice-a versa

So she'll probably do the whole nine, that nasty ho

I don't know where I'ma go this Christmas, it's Satan's birth

I'ma try to smoke a pound of weed, and ease the Earth

While Jesus equiped with angels, the Devil's equiped with fire

For God so love the world that he blessed the thug with rocks

Won't stop until they feel me

Protect me Devil, think the Lord is tryin' to kill me

It's vica versa

Heaven is below, while this dozier keep me high

To see the Lord almighty nigga, I'm ready to die

My reply for any questions asked, "The Devil made me do it"

Who's the Devil may I ask?, It's so polluted

Up-rooted from all this stupid shit

See me cremated, my adaption to the climate

So glad I made it

Elated that they gon' go to Heaven

But do they know Heaven may not be the place to go

Again I ask, Heaven was Hell and vica versa

The devil's in me and I'll be damned if I'm gon let god hurt ya

Follow me...

[Peter the Disciple]

If it was vica versa, I'd be an angel, 'cause I'm a devil

A Down South Georgia Rebel, a whole 'nother fuckin' level

Remenisin' on all the good and the bad that I did

Bustin' caps and splittin' wigs

And servin' nicks and talkin' shit

This is vica versa no fuckin' commercial

Heaven or Hell, where do we go?

When we die, eternal fire or the street of gold

Only God knows, vica versa

In this song the overall message is a representation of the upside down world that we live in. The evil is often glorified and the good often neglected. In many of the verses Pastor Troy describes what if heaven was hell. How would the world be then? This song has been one of the few that makes people sit down and try to understand the true meaning behind the lyrics. The irony of heaven being hell is apparent and the words Pastor Troy uses to describe the topsy turvy world makes a person sit back and try to think outside of the box. The name of the artist even gives us some insight in this song. Associating a man of god as a rapper who is preaching the "word" is a thought provoking image.
"Elated that they gon go to heaven/but do they know heaven may not be the place to go/again I ask if heaven was hell and vica versa/the devil's in me and I'll be damned if I'm gon let god hurt ya" are the best lines in this song because it is these lines that show the true complexity of this song. pastor troy is saying that the devil is god and god is the devil. He has chosen his "bad" side to be his good side and by stating that the devil is in or evil is in him and he refuses for that to be harmed but the good that God represents. How backwards does that really sound? Another verse that brings contraversy to this song is when he says " protect me devil I think the lord is trying to kill me," Many people would probably find that line very offensive but in my opinion it is exactly what many people are subconciously asking everyday. There are evils in this world that are glorified and when you are a person that depends on the deeds of evil then you will seek protection from the wrath of god.

This song doesn't really contain a full chorus but the repeating "if heaven was hell and vice versa" is the closest thing in the sing that can be regarded as a horus. This is self explanatory on many levels. There is an irony of the worlds of good and evil being reversed. A since of sarcasm is repeated in these verses. The explaination of ironic instances following these lines are the inference that this is a sarcastic way of provoking thought and insight. There are contraversial verses throughout this song that I believe shows the true complexity of the artist and hip hop itself. A twisted representation of what is good and what is bad. There are so many different ways that one can take this particular song and so many issues that can be addressed in its lyrics. A brief mention that he believed in God but continued to pray to the devil to save him...a contradiction that I believe often happens in hip hop as a whole.

This song should go down into history because it is a great song with simple lyrics but complex ideas. The song is not only thought provoking but a real representation of the true nature of hip hop and what hip hop represents. The artistry involved in the wording of this song and the idea of this song truely embraces the reality of a lifestyle that many mnay not be aware that they are leading.

Lights,Please

First, I would like to say J cole is and underground rapper that does not have a CD out yet he does have a mixtape, hopfully by the end of 2010 everyone will know who he is.

I had this lil bad thing, somethin like them 10s
She gave a nigga mad brain, somethin like the Wiz
But you see the sad thing fuckin with her is
Is the chick aint even have brains, dummy like a bitch
So I tried to show her
About the world and about just who we really are
And where weve come and how we still have to go really far
Like baby look at how we live broke on the boulevard
But all she ever want me to do is unhook her bra
Then all I really want is for her to go down low
Before you know it, she wet enough to get drowned slow
And all that deep shit I was previously down fo
Replaced by freak shit I am currently down fo
You see I peeped that pussy is power
That proud feeling we get knowing that pussy is ours
And how it feels to feel that feeling you feelin when you be drillin that shit
Got her sayin you be killin that shit
And all the pain the world caused, she be healin that shit
And nah that aint your girl dog, but you be feelin that shit
And you just wanna tell her everything she might need
But in the meantime, its lights please

Chorus:

Lights please, lights please
Turn off the lights
For now everything just seems so right
And how you make the darkness seem so bright
Feelin like things gon be alright

(Repeat)

So now we in the hotel, mirrors on the ceiling
She say she wanna blow Ls, I hear her and Im willin
But everytime I smoke, well a aggin mind gone
So that every word I spoke, well Im tryin to put her on
But she couldnt hear me
I told her all about how we been livin a lie
And that they love to see us all go to prison or die
Like baby look at how they show us on the TV screen
But all she ever want me to do is unzip her jeans
Then all I really want is for her to get on top
Before you know it, she workin, jerkin it non-stop
And all that next shit I was previously talkin
Is now that wet shit that Im currently lost in
And while that sweat drips, I am reminded
All the times my brother told me that pussy is blindin
Im findin
The more I grow, the more yall seem to stay the same
Dont even know the rules but yet yall tryin to play the game
And aint it shameful how nigga blame hoes for givin birth
To a baby that took two to make
Coward nigga, you a fake
How you gon look in your sons face and turn your back?
Then go start another family dog, what type of shit is that?
She said Its okay, rubbed my head and told me to relax
Laid a aggin down proper like she was recording tracks
Said I know you wanna change the world, but for the night please
Just reach over and hit the lights please

This Song is about a man that is annoyed by all the bad things that are going on in the world.
He had a girl that is really pretty but not that smart at all.Everytime he tries to tell her about the things that make him mad.She does not listen or she does not understand.Insted she just has sex with him.She has sex with him so well that he just forgets about all the things that make him mad.

Lights please, lights pleaseTurn off the lights For now everything just seems so rightAnd how you make the darkness seem so bright Feelin like things gon be alright-When the lights are off he just forgets everything because it is harder to see the bad things in the dark for the moment. Also she makes the dark feel so goodwhen then they are haveing sex in the dark.

I had this lil bad thing, somethin like them 10sShe gave a nigga mad brain, somethin like the WizBut you see the sad thing fuckin with her isIs the chick aint even have brains, dummy like a bitch-He has a pretty girl that gives him good oral sex but she is not that smart.

So that every word I spoke, well Im tryin to put her on But she couldnt hear me-Anytime he tries to talk to her about something educationed she would not understand or care.

And all that next shit I was previously talkin Is now that wet shit that Im currently lost in-All the things he was talking about he fortgot about.

All the times my brother told me that pussy is blindin-Times his brother told him that girls can hypontize you.

Dont even know the rules but yet yall tryin to play the gameAnd aint it shameful how nigga blame hoes for givin birth To a baby that took two to makeCoward nigga, you a fake-How men want to have sex but when the baby comes they don't want to take care of it.

BIG on the underground
what's the point of knocking me down?
everybody knows
I'm already good on the ground

most of us stay strong
sh*t don't really bound us
then I go on my own
making bombs with rubber bands

I have my hard down
so I need a man for romance
streets are making em hard
so they selfish little roamers
jumpin' girl to girl
make us meat like burgers
when I get fat
I'll pop me out some leaders

A protocol to be a Rocawear model?
it didn't really drop that way
my legs hit the hurdle

A protocol to be a rocker on a label?
it didn't really drop that way
our beats were too evil

but I put away paper for later so I'm stable
a better something better come
so I could get cable
ghetto pops, food drops
I store them in my stable
I cook em up , pop em down
eat me it off ya a table

The village got on the phone
said the street is comin' to town
they wanna check my papers
see what I carry around
credentials are boring
I burnt them at the burial ground
don't order me about
I'm an outlaw from the badland

put away shots for later
so I'm stable
live in trees chew on feet
watch lost on cable
bird flu gonna get you
made it in my stable
from the crap you drop
on my crop when they pay you.

"My President"
(feat. Nas)

[Intro: Young Jeezy]
Yeah, be the realest shit I never wrote
I ain't write this by the way nigga, some real shit right here nigga
This'll be the realest shit you ever quote
Let's go!

[Hook: Young Jeezy]
My president is black, my Lambo's blue
And I'll be goddamned if my rims ain't too
My momma ain't at home, and daddy's still in jail
Tryna make a plate, anybody seen the scale?
My president is black, my Lambo's blue
And I'll be goddamned if my rims ain't too
My money's light green and my Jordans light grey
And they love to see white, now how much you tryna pay?
Let's go!

[Verse 1: Young Jeezy]
Today was a good day, hope I have me a great night
I don't know what you fishin for but catch you a great white
Me, I see great white, heavy as killer whales
I cannot believe this, who knew it came in bails
Who knew what came with jail, who knew what came with prison
Just cause you got opinions, does that make you a politician?
Bush robbed all of us, would that make him a criminal?
And then he cheated in Florida, would that make him a seminal?
I say and I quote, "We need a miracle"
And I say a miracle cause this shit is hysterical
By my nephews and nieces, I will email Jesus
Tell him forward to Moses and CC Allah
Mr. Soul Survivor, guess that make me a Konvict
Be all you be, now don't that sound like some dumb shit
When you die over crude oil as black as my nigga Boo
It's really a Desert Storm, that's word to my nigga Clue
Catch me in Las Vegas, A.R. Arizona
Rep for them real niggas, I'm winnin in California
Winnin in Tennessee, hands down Atlanta
Landslide Alabama, on my way to Sevana

[Hook]

[Verse 2: Young Jeezy]
I said I woke up this morning, headache this big
Pay all these damn bills, feed all these damn kids
Buy all these school shoes, buy all these school clothes
For some strange reason my son addicted to Polos
Love me some spinach dip, I'm addicted to Houston's
And if the numbers is right I take a trip out to Houston
An earthquake out in China, a hurricane in New Orleans
Street Dreams Tour, I showed my ass in New Orleans
Did it for Soulja Slim, brought out B.G.
It's all love Bun, I'm forgivin you Pimp C
You know how the Pimp be, that nigga gon' speak his mind
If he could speak down from heaven he'd tell me stay on my grind
Tell him I'm doin fine, Obama for mankind
We ready for damn change so y'all let the man shine
Stuntin on Martin Luther, feelin just like a king
Guess this is what he meant when he said that he had a dream

[Hook]

[Verse 3: Nas]
Yeah, our history, black history, no president ever did shit for me
Had to hit the streets, had to flip some keys so a nigga won't go broke
Then they put us in jail, now a nigga can't go vote
So I spend doe, all these hoes is trippin
She a ain't a politician, honey's a polotician
My president is black, rolls golden charms
Twenty-two inch rims like Hulk Hogan's arms
When thousands of peoples is riled up to see you
That can arouse ya ego, we got mouths to feed so
Gotta stay true to who you are and where you came from
Cause at the top will be the same place you hang from
No matter how big you can ever be
For whatever fee or publicity, never lose your integrity
For years there's been surprise horses in this stable
Just two albums in, I'm the realest nigga on this label
Mr. Black President, yo Obama for real
They gotta put your face on the five-thousand dollar bill

[Hook]

[Outro: Young Jeezy]
So I'm sittin right here now man
It's June 3rd haha, 2:08 AM
Nigga I won't say win, lose or draw
Man we congratulate you already homie
See I motivate the thugs right
You motivate us homie, that's what it is
This a hands on policy, y'all touchin me right nigga
Yeah, first black president, win, lose or draw nigga
Haha, matter of fact, you know what it is man
Shouts out to Jackie Robinson, Booker T, Washington homie
Oh you ain't think I knew that shit?
Sydney portea what dey do?
Haha, my president is black
I'm important too though, my Lambo's blue
I was, I was the first nigga to ride through my hood in a Lamborghini yeah haha

Chorus/paraphrase

Jeezy is saying everything is going so good in his life,he got money and a black president.Even though his mom aint at home and his daddy still in jail,he still making it with him having a struggle.

The overall message of this song is to show the world how much he appreciate our president and how we made history.Jeezy explains everything that he has went through and his views on the world.People are quick to judge people who are doing something that they limit theirselves of doing.

Favorite line/paraphrase
"Tell em im doin fine,Obama for mankind
We ready for damn change,so yall let the man shine
Stuntin on Martin Luther, cause im feelin just like a king
I guess this what he mean about having a dream"

This is basically saying Obama is in office and the people who throwing dirt on his name need to stop.He is all good,he can rest now.Obama in office everything is gone get better. We have somebody that care about our people and that can relate to our circumstances. He feeling like Martin luther king because having a black person for president was Dr.Kings dream.

I think this song is important because he express what alot of people wanted to say in this song.It was a happy moment for our people. We have been through so much with the last president that we had for eight years. To see the day that we have a black president in office that understands us.He talks bout struggles that everybody has been through,so everybody can relate.
He is somebody that the young boys consider cool, and he shows them how important it was.He shows them how even rappers was effected by this decision. They usually see jeezy talking bout guns, drugs or fighting. With this song he talked about how hard it was for him growing up,until now.As of right now he was letting them know that evrything was going to be fine.
This should go up for history because he talking about a huge history moment we made.People can look back at this song and see how excited everybody was.
