What Is Culture?

I believe culture is the way in which a group of people live their lives that is unique, sacred and valuable to them. The way children are raised what activities/events a group of people partake in ,music , fashion, crafts trades, the arts and language all of these factors make culture unique and vary from group to group. I believe a culture can be as small as a group of people to as big as millions of people in a country.

In relationship to this class hip hop culture has is highly unique and is internationally recognized. from my point of view i believe the most active participants of hip hop culture are the youth from ages 25 and younger.one major factor that identifies a person apart of hip-hop culture [or any culture] is material possessions and fashion.A culture may also poses controversial values and practices. In regards to hip hop culture many young men sag their pants and belt them below their waist, exposing their underwear. if asked they might say it makes them "look cool" when in fact they look ridiculously sloppy. Many young men are not aware what sagging pants represents. In jail if an inmate walks around with sagging pants that is a nonverbal invitation for sex.

A culture also has their own "idols" or celebrity figures. Tupac {second picture} is a prestigious figure in hip hop culture as well as many others.

Culture also has thier own forms of artwork .Hiphop culture is famous for the art of defacing public property known as "grafiti" [first picture] this art form although intricate and extraordinary is highly controversial.

To conclude, a culture is kind of many different "Worlds" inside The World all unique in its own way.
