Artist VS Industry Post

Hear what happend to real hip hop. Real hip hop died i'd say about 10 years ago along with Tupac, Big Pun, and Biggie Smalls. Real hip hop is about stories based on real life struggles and experiences in which occurs with black people living in urban communities. Real hip hop also is defined as culture and form of ground breaking music and self expression with elements that consisted of the elements of graffiti art, DJing, MCing, and breaking. Today Hip-Hop is considered to be dead in the mainstream because so-called mainstream Hip-Hop doesn't have the elements of hip-hop and have no meaning. Things that should be defined to make hip hop authintic are if the lyrics are meaningful to real hip hop. Yes and artist can still be diverse with hip hop staying real. What makes an artist authentic is how he expresses himself in his songs. Things that make a song controversial are topics discussed in a song that are socially deviant. Things with extreme violence and sexuality in them. I.E LIL WAYNE
