As we all know African Americans started the rap nation. Everytime you turn on the T.V. you see a black man rapping on a music station. But Black people do not own rap. Even though, the rap industry has started with and is dominated by African Americans but we don't own rap music. Music is a form of an expression by anyone.
Why is Rap Not Music?
I cannot really debate on why rap isn't music because it is music. Who is it to say it isn't music just because the rappist is talking fast and doing no runs and not singing high notes?
